First National Bank of America is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for our Grand Rapids Branch. This role will be accountable for the operational soundness of the Branch and team. The leadership of this role will influence the Branch team to be proactive in conversations and daily activities to drive additional deposits and revenue to the Bank. The Assistant Branch Manager will maintain compliance within the branch, including cash handling, audit procedures and regulatory training. The ideal candidate will possess strong decision making and critical thinking skills as well as exceptional skills with technology, including the ability to problem solve when systems are not operating as intended. Responsibilities:
- Provide solutions and advice to improve customer financial well-being in person and via emails, phone calls and instant messages
- Maintaining weekly cash flow for the branch
- Build a high performing team through onboarding, coaching and development of branch team members
- Manage operational, human capital, reputational and business risk through adherence of all relevant regulations and bank procedures
- Grow branch deposit through proactive activities, gain wallet share of consumer and business households
- Lead effective problem resolution and foster a positive working environment
Qualifications:
- 2 + years of related experience in banking or a similar field
- Detailed knowledge of banking regulations
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proactive approach to creating processes & building a sustainable structure to drive solid results Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Word
- Experience in sales management and customer experience
