First National Bank of America is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for our East Lansing Branch.  This role is responsible for assisting in the managing all aspects of a retail branch including account opening, account maintenance and processing transactions to assure timely and accurate handling of transactions in order to deliver exceptional customer service while driving deposit growth. The Assistant Branch Manager will maintain compliance within the branch, including cash handling, audit procedures and regulatory training. A successful candidate will have a strong customer focus, outstanding teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate/support/sell all bank products and services
  • Assist customers in-person and via emails, phone calls and instant messages
  • Maintaining weekly cash flow for the branch

  • Comply with all relevant regulations and follow all bank procedures.

Qualifications:

Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Analyst

First National Bank of America is seeking a proactive and precise Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Analyst to join the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) Team. The role requires a compliance minded individual who can effectively interpret data and create insightful reports for the purpose of BSA Risk Analysis. The BSA Analyst will use their strong analytical and technical skills to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual BSA department review tasks as needed and prepare data analysis for annual risk assessment reports. The ideal candidate will possess sound and accurate judgement and problem solving with proven ability in critical thinking and attention to detail.

The BSA Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance efforts by analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and ensuring that our data management practices comply with relevant regulations. Additionally, the BSA Analyst will assist the BSA Supervisor in the development, implementation and maintenance of department information, analytics, and reporting framework. This role requires the ability to stay well organized with the aptitude to manage multiple tasks and work within time sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand the Verafin Administrator Role to include the primary account contact responsibility which involves coordination with Verafin Customer Success Manager and oversight of updates, enhancements, and training opportunities
  • Oversee annual model governance testing of the BSA/AML fraud monitoring software risk agent review, validation, and other testing
  • Prepare data analysis for annual BSA risk assessment reports
  • Compile and organize data for annual OCC-MLR report
  • Assemble data and create reports as needed to further promote department efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with BSA/AML regulations and industry best practices to ensure the organization remains fully compliant with both banking and government regulations
  • Demonstrate advanced Excel skills, including the use of functions, formulas, and pivot tables, to complete tasks with precision

Qualifications:

  • General financial services or regulatory agency experience with an emphasis in Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Compliance, or Operations, or equivalent level of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Excel
  • Proven drive for continuous learning and personal development
  • An understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and experience with Verafin Financial Crime Management platform preferred but not required
  • A knowledge of and experience supporting BSA/AML initiatives, including sanctions (OFAC) screening preferred but not required
  • A financial services background with working knowledge of Jack Henry Core Banking Software preferred but not required
  • Experience working with Cognos and/or SQL preferred but not required

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct systems analysis to understand the business impact of proposed system changes, develop applicable coding, build test script documents, administer test environment, release changes, and assist in reviewing system interfaces
  • Participate in Encompass automation projects and development of Encompass Web.
  • Work within Encompass integrations including LoanNex Pricing, LenderPrice, TPO Connect, LO Connect, Consumer Connect, Velocify, DataConnect, Connexions, and other Ellie Mae Network services
  • Assist in escalated queries as Tier II or IT Help desk as necessary

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years’ experience using or supporting Encompass loan origination system preferred
  • 3 years’ experience building basic knowledge with mortgage loan process, current mortgage lending laws and regulations, mortgage compliance requirements
  • 3 years' JavaScript or equivalent work-based experience with Encompass Web
  • 3 years’ experience working with Windows and hosted solutions such as Office 365
  • Capacity to build custom input forms using advance coding
  • Advanced troubleshooting and Multi-tasking
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and preserve and grow your knowledge of Ellie Mae Encompass products and services and helpdesk procedures

  • Assist with the development, implementation, execution, and ongoing improvements of the Enterprise Risk Management program
  • Collect and consolidate data from multiple departments and data sources
  • Develop and maintain risk reporting dashboards to reflect holistic view of risk
  • Develop repeatable processes which minimize manual data gathering and leverage existing information
  • Meet established timelines for intake, production, drafting and finalization of materials with limited re-work
  • Suggest how to unobtrusively capture information necessary for identification and monitoring of enterprise risk

Qualifications:

  • Risk management, program management or technology implementation experience with industry knowledge is preferred (financial risk, non-financial risk, regulatory and/or compliance)
  • Database Management and Record Management experience is preferred
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels within an organization through both verbal and written channels
  • Strong listening skills and ability to synthesize information into clear actions
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment in which businesses processes, tools, deadlines etc. are continually evolving
  • Ability to prioritize time to support business objectives
