A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a type of tax-exempt savings account that helps individuals with qualified high-deductible health plans (HDHPs)* save money to pay health expenses on a tax-preferred basis. Out-of-pocket medical expenses may include, but are not limited to, costs related to doctor visits, dental and vision care, and prescriptions.

Contributions

You have several convenient options for making contributions to your HSA account. Contributions can be made via:

  • Automatic deduction from your paycheck
  • One-time or recurring transfers from an account you have at FNBA or another financial institution
  • Deposit by check at an FNBA branch office or via Mobile Deposit
  • Contribution from employer through Direct Deposit

In addition, contributions made to your HSA earn a competitive rate of interest.

Paying Expenses

  • Cash withdraw at an ATM or local branch office

You can log on to FirstLine™ Online Banking to access your HSA information. In FirstLine™, you can check your balance, review recent transactions, view/download account statements, set up automatic account alerts, and more.

Medical Expense Tracking

Our online My Finance tool allows you to easily track your medical expenses. You can review your transactions and deductions from your HSA.

My Finance puts you in control of managing your healthcare expenses by:

  • Providing an easy-to-read summary of your healthcare spending
  • Gives you the ability to add notes to HSA expenses
  • Allows you to categorize your healthcare expenses for quick reference

Mobile Banking
