What are eStatements?
eStatements are an electronic version of your bank statement. They offer you a convenient way to view, print and download your account statements right from your computer.

How can I benefit from eStatements?
eStatements offer many benefits that help simplify the way you use and store you bank statement:

• Flexibility: eStatements are available online for 13 months. You may also save them electronically for your permanent records.
• Fast: eStatements are available for you to review the same day the bank creates it.
• Reduce Fraud: By receiving your statements electronically, you reduce your risk of being victimized by mail fraud, which increases the risk of identity theft.
• Secure: eStatements are password protected and encrypted.
• Free: eStatements are a free service for FirstLine Online Banking customers.

What accounts are eligible for eStatements?
You may receive eStatements for all checking and savings accounts.

How can I enroll in eStatements?
You may contact a bank representative who can enroll you or you may enroll yourself through your FirstLine Online Banking account. Sign-in to FirstLine and click on the “ eStatments” tab and follow the instructions. Once you are successfully enrolled, you will receive an email confirmation from the bank.

If you are not currently a FirstLine Online Banking customer, please contact one of our office locations to enroll. A bank representative can enroll you in eStatements at the same time.

How will I know when my eStatement is available for me to view?
You will receive an email notification from the bank whenever a new eStatement is available for you to view. Email notifications will be sent to the email address you provide when you enroll in eStatements.

How do I view my eStatements?
Once you receive the email notification, simply sign-in to your FirstLine account and click the “ eStatements” tab. A list of available statements will display. Click “View” next to the statement you wish to open.

How long are eStatements available for viewing?
eStatements are retained online for 13 months. If you would like to keep them longer, you must print them or save them to your computer or other storage medium.

What should I do if I change my email address?
You should update your email address for eStatement notifications by logging on to your Firstline account and slicking on the “eStatements” tab. Then select the “Email Settings” option, which will display a window to update your new email address.

Do I need special software to view my eStatements?
You need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 6.0 or higher to view your eStatements.

Are eStatements secure?
eStatements are secure and accessed with your FirstLine ID and password. As an added layer of security, you will be required to enter a security phrase when you enroll in eStatements. The security phrase will be part of the subject line in the email notification that you receive when your eStatement is available. This is intended to assure you that the email notification you received was indeed originated by First National Bank of America.

I receive both eStatements and paper statements?
You will receive both paper and an electronic statement the first month after enrollment. One you view your eStatement, the bank will discontinue printing and mailing a paper statement for future statement cycles.

If I enroll in eStatements but do not receive an email notification when I expect to, what should I do?
If you do not receive an email notification when you expect to, you should check the following:

Sign-in to your FirstLine account and click the “eStatements” tab to verify that the email address you provided during eStatement enrollment is correct.
Add the bank’s email address to your email contact list to avoid spam blocking
Contact a bank representative during normal business hours and they will be happy to assist you.

How long does it take to receive my first eStatement after I enroll?
You will receive an eStatement the next time you are scheduled to receive a paper statement. Subsequent eStatements will be available at the same time/frequency as a paper statement.

Can I have my eStatement sent to more than one email address?
Yes, we can send your eStatement to an additional third-party email that you authorize, such as an accountant, trustee, Power of Attorney, etc.

How can I enroll additional accounts for eStatements?
You can enroll additional account by logging on to your FirstLine account and clicking on the “eStatements” tab. Then select the “Sign Up / Changes” option. Place a check next to any account you wish to enroll.
