Commercial Loan Officer

Seeking candidates to develop and manage new and existing commercial loan relationships in our Traverse City location.  Along with new business development, responsibilities will include on-going evaluation of customer portfolios with a focus on credit risk ratings and addressing credit administration exceptions.  A minimum of 3 years commercial lending experience, formal credit training, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent.  A history of working with both small businesses and investment real estate highly desired.


Staff Auditor

Seeking candidates with 2+ years of experience in audit to fill a full-time Staff Auditor position.  Responsibilities include conducting performance, operational, financial, and information systems audit projects.  Provides consulting services to management and staff as well as participates in the development of the annual internal audit plan.  Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance, possess two years of applicable experience and be proficient with Word and Excel.


Network Administrator

Responsible for the analysis, administration and support of voice, video, and data communications networks.  Participates in and may lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades.  Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned.  Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems; provides advice and training to end-users.  Knowledge in Windows Administration is required; knowledge in Cisco and or Linux preferred.


Residential Loan Processor

Responsibilities include ordering title work, contacting county and municipal offices to obtain tax and or recording information, working with loan originators, underwriters, loan applicants, investors, and title companies to prepare and coordinate closings.  Must have experience with title work and Microsoft Word.  Successful candidates will be dependable, organized, and be able to complete multiple tasks at a fast pace in a deadline driven environment.


Escrow Department (part-time)
Seeking a part-time candidate to join our team in providing outstanding service to our customers. The successful candidate will bring critical thinking skills and a positive attitude to our fast paced service oriented environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: inbound and outbound calls to customers, taxing authorities and insurance agencies; sorting and identifying incoming mail; sending insurance letters to customers and working out of insurance work lists; fielding and monitoring insurance claims. Candidates should be very detail oriented and have strong communication skills.  The position would require a minimum of 24 hours/week. Schedule can be flexible – availability between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. is required.


Web Developer

Responsibilities include enhancing application functionality, analyzing and resolving problems with existing code, as well as attending and running system development meetings.  Qualified candidates will have experience in SQL, Sybase, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and possess good communication skills.


Residential Loan Officer

Seeking candidates with exceptional communication skills to work with our prospects in an effort to purchase land contracts and notes for cash.  Ideal candidates will have the determination required to convince note owners to sell their notes and the resolve to push through closing issues.  Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are required.  An understanding of title work and appraisals is desired but not required.   This is an entry level position.  We are willing to train sales minded individuals in the evaluation and analysis of real estate notes.

Courthouse Researchers First National Acceptance Company is expanding its network of researchers. The ideal candidate is someone who currently works in the courthouse and is familiar with courthouse researching procedures. If you do not currently work in a courthouse, but have previous courthouse researching experience, this position may be for you too!This is a part-time, independent contractor position that consists of locating and recording the names and addresses of sellers of owner-financed real estate notes. Opportunities exist in multiple counties. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking supplemental income.
