Requirements for Online Banking - Establishing a Secure Connection to the Internet.

In order to establish a secure connection between your computer and our network, you must use an Internet browser that is compatible with First National's security requirements. This includes a browser with 128-bit encryption. The recommended browser for FirstLineTM Internet Banking is Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 with 128-bit encryption. Other popular browsers are:

  • Netscape Navigator Version 4.0 to 6.0 with 128-bit encryption
  • Netscape Communicator Version 4.0 to 6.0 with 128-bit "strong" encryption

    Please check your browser's encryption level by clicking the Test Browser tab on the FirstLineTM Internet Banking log-in page. If it is determined that your browser is not capable of 128-bit encryption, go to the appropriate Microsoft or Netscape site listed below to upgrade your browser:
